Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG, Dhaka) has announced that it will delay the suspension of its Dhaka-Sylhet-Manchester service by a month to March 1, 2026. While the suspension was initially scheduled to take effect on February 1, the airline's board ultimately decided to postpone, citing the "convenience of passengers." Affected passengers will be offered alternatives, including rebooking them on the London Heathrow route.

Presently, the carrier flies 2x weekly to Manchester onboard its B787-8 fleet.
