The Estonian government is considering liquidating state-owned lessor Transpordi Varahaldus following the sale of its last ex-Xfly (Estonia) CRJ900ER. The jet is one of seven purchased by Regional One as part of a USD37.5 million deal made with the lessor in July 2025. The government still needs to decide on the fate of Transpordi Varaldhus’s claims against Nordica, the parent company of Xfly, which are part of the airline’s ongoing bankruptcy proceedings. Transpordi Varaldhus was incorporated solely to lease aircraft to Nordica and Xfly and had no other customers.
