Norwegian (Oslo Gardermoen) has announced that it has entered into a wet-lease agreement with Portuguese ACMI specialist Hi Fly (5K, Beja) to cover the delivery delay of its B787-8s that were scheduled to be delivered to Norwegian in time for the planned launch of long-haul services from both Oslo Gardermoen and Stockholm Arlanda to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and New York JFK. From the end of May, Hi Fly will operate two ex-Emirates (EK, Dubai International) A340-300s CS-TQY (c/n 190) and CS-TQZ (c/n 202) on behalf of Norwegian. Both aircraft are currently being prepared for the operation in Dubai.
