Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) has announced its supervisory board has approved plans to order a total of 108 aircraft for the Lufthansa Group. The orders approved includes two additional A380-800 and 30 A320-200s for Lufthansa as well as six B777-300ERs for subsidiary Swiss (LX, Zurich). Lufthansa is still in talks with Airbus to also finalize an order for 35 A320neo and 35 A321neo aircraft that has however also already been approved by its board.
