US's BOND orders more Global jets, upgrades options
Fractional ownership start-up BOND (Fort Lauderdale International) has expanded a June 2025 order placed with Bombardier Business Aircraft, adding four new firm orders for Global-family jets and converting 24 of 70 options into Global 8000 aircraft, with the flexibility to revert them to Global 6500...
Fractional ownership start-up BOND (Fort Lauderdale International) has expanded a June 2025 order placed with Bombardier Business Aircraft, adding four new firm orders for Global-family jets and converting 24 of 70 options into Global 8000 aircraft, with the flexibility to revert them to Global 6500s.
In a statement, BOND said the decision reflects sustained demand at the top end of the private aviation market, where supply continues to lag demand, particularly among buyers seeking newer aircraft and alternative ownership models, adding that it is “prioritising exclusivity over scale in the super-midsize to ultra-long-range segment”.
With this update, BOND's total commitment to Bombardier rises to up to USD5 billion. The company initially placed an order valued at up to USD4 billion for fifty Challenger 3500 and Global 6500 jets, with options for 70 additional Challenger and Global-series aircraft, alongside a comprehensive service agreement.
BOND has raised a total of USD440 million in funding to date, including an initial USD320 million in preferred equity and debt financing led by credit funds and accounts managed by global investment firm KKR. KKR has also increased BOND's credit facility to USD290 million to support an accelerated delivery schedule for 2027 member commitments.
Ahead of a planned 2027 launch of operations, the start-up has already acquired the Part 135 certificate of National Jets (United States of America) (EGS) as part of a broader series of anticipated acquisitions.

Vista begins Global 7500 to Global 8000 retrofit programme
Vista Global Holding, trading as Vista, has begun upgrading all Global 7500s to Global 8000s, starting with the first of 18 aircraft. The operator plans to convert two aircraft per month, with the full fleet expected to be operational as Global 8000 jets by the end of 2026.

Vista Global Holding, trading as Vista, has begun upgrading all Global 7500s to Global 8000s, starting with the first of 18 aircraft. The operator plans to convert two aircraft per month, with the full fleet expected to be operational as Global 8000 jets by the end of 2026.
“For our members, greater speed and extended range translate directly into practical benefits, such as reaching their destination faster or travelling more efficiently with direct flights. With more members flying further and more frequently, these capabilities allow us to offer greater flexibility,” said Vista founder and chairman Thomas Flohr.
The Global 8000 offers performance enhancements over the Global 7500, particularly in range and speed, alongside a lower cabin altitude. The retrofit is being delivered under a Bombardier Business Aircraft service bulletin through engineering and software upgrades.
Although the identity of the first Vista Global 7500 converted to a Global 8000 has not been disclosed, ch-aviation research shows that 2021-built 9H-VIJ (msn 70095), operated by VistaJet (Malta), has been parked since April 3 at London Biggin Hill. The location is where Bombardier upgraded the first Global 7500 to a Global 8000 for a private Australian customer in early 2026.
Vista operates fifteen additional Global 7500s under VistaJet Malta, along with two more under the Part 135 certificate of JetSelect Aviation, part of Vista America. The group further manages at least two other Global 7500s registered in the United States, one under JetSelect Aviation's certificate and the another under Jet Edge.
Vista also operates several other Global-series jets, including the Global Express XRS, Global 5000, and Global 6000 variants across VistaJet Malta and Vista America.
Beyond this, the group, which also includes VistaJet (Germany), operates other Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Textron Aviation aircraft. Earlier this year, Vista placed an order with Bombardier for forty Challenger 3500s, with options for 120 additional units.
Similar to Vista, NetJets Aviation is also converting its fleet of Global 7500s. The fractional ownership specialist, which took delivery of a factory-new Global 8000 earlier this year as part of four firm orders, will convert twenty Global 7500s to the Global 8000 standard.
