Federal Express Corporation and China Southern Air Logistics, the respective parent companies of FedEx Express (FX, Memphis International) and China Southern Air Cargo (CZ, Guangzhou), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on June 2, 2026, focusing on hub connectivity, network planning, fleet resources, ground operations, and digitalisation. Once implemented, the partnership will position Guangzhou, where both carriers have a sizeable presence, as an international aviation hub.
