Tunisair (TU, Tunis) unions are criticizing the government which has allocated traffic rights to new start-up Syphax Airlines (Sfax) allowing it to operate scheduled services from Tunis in competition with Tunisair. In addition, the unions have also threatened not to service Syphax Airlines flights that are supposed to be ground handled by Tunisair Handling at Djerba, Sfax and Tunis.
