Direktflyg (Borlänge/Falun) as well as Flyglinjen (Stockholm Arlanda) and SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) have immediately reacted to the bankruptcy filing of Skyways (Stockholm Arlanda) which has left several key domestic routes in Sweden unserved. Direktflyg has taken over the route between Stockholm Arlanda and Oskarshamn already that it previously served on behalf of Skyways with one of its Jetstream 32s. As of June 4 it will serve Gothenburg Landvetter - Sundsvall-Härnösand twice weekdaily with a wet-leased Do328-100. Flyglinjen will wet-lease a second Jetstream 32 from Avies (Tallinn Lennart Meri) to be able to take over the Jönköping - Stockholm Arlanda route previously served in competition to its own flights from Jönköping to Stockholm Bromma. SAS will launch a daily B737-600 serving linking Stockholm Arlanda with Visby on May 25. It typically only served the route seasonally during the high season in summer and otherwise depended on its interline and codeshare agreement with Skyways.
