Sol del Paraguay (SGU, Asunción) has suspended its regional operations in Paraguay on July 31 citing financial difficulties. It had originally launched operations in mid-July 2011 and had been serving Buenos Aires Ministro Pistarini and Ciudad del Este from Paraguay's capital Asuncion with a fleet of three F100s. This leaves LATAM Airlines Group subsidiary TAM Airlines (Asunción) as the only scheduled airline based in the country.
