AirAsia (AK, Kuala Lumpur International) is planning to place an order for 100 additional Airbus aircraft, likely a combination of A320-200s and A320-200 neos. According to AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes the fleet expansion plan has already been submitted to the board and is now pending final approval. AirAsia still has 74 more A320-200s and 200 A320-200 neos on order.
