LGW - Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (Dortmund) will take over the seven E190s currently operated by Niki (Austria) (Vienna) from Vienna by the end of March and then operate the aircraft on a wet-lease basis on behalf of Air Berlin (1991) (Berlin Tegel). The aircraft are expected to then be based at Berlin Tegel and Düsseldorf. LGW already operates ten DHC-8-400s on behalf of its close partner Air Berlin.
