Norwegian (Oslo Gardermoen) CEO Björn Kjos has confirmed that its subsidiary Norwegian Long Haul (Oslo Gardermoen) will also base some B787-8s at Copenhagen Kastrup from the end of this year without disclosing specifics about the planned number of aircraft to be based in Denmark or the destinations to be served initially. Norwegian will gradually launch its first long-haul routes from both Oslo Gardermoen and Stockholm Arlanda to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and New York JFK from May onwards with its first two B787-8s.
