LIAT (Antigua and Barbuda) (Antigua) has announced an order for three ATR 42-600 turboprops with French-Italian aircraft manufacturer ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac). It has also secured options for two larger ATR 72-600s. The first ATR 42-600 is expected to be delivered to the pan-Caribbean regional carrier in June of this year already. LIAT currently operates 13 DHC-8-300 on passenger and a single DHC-8-100 on cargo services on routes throughout the Caribbean.
