Cairo-based aircraft broker Go Charter is seeking to dry lease four passenger-configured ATR72s for five years as it pushes ahead with plans to expand operations across Africa.

Announcing the request on social media, it said it is ready "to move swiftly through the acquisition process", adding that it can begin inspecting suitable aircraft as soon as it is satisfied that the documentation and pricing are in order.

A company spokesman told ch-aviation that the ATR - Avions de Transport Régional turboprops are required for an unnamed "semi-government" start-up in Nigeria. "All documents are in place," the spokesman said, adding that the parties are currently negotiating a price for the deal.

While the company does not specify what ATR72 variant it is looking for, the ATR72-600 will "be better for sure", the spokesman said.

The company brokered a lease for six months starting in August 2025 between Sky Vision Airlines and Kenyan operator Fly Mara Airlines for an A321-200(P2F). It also recently announced on social media that it has a F50(F) available for ACMI cargo work across Africa, along with unspecified variants of A320, A321, B737, B767 and B727 freighters.
