Qantas Group has settled a class action lawsuit related to travel credits resulting from COVID-caused cancellations for a total sum of AUD105 million Australian dollars (USD74 million). The airline did not admit liability. If the Federal Court of Australia approves the settlement, Qantas expects to pay it out in the second half of 2026. The lawsuit was launched by passengers disgruntled that the carrier was offering travel credits but was initially unwilling to return cash for cancelled services.
