NZ Jet (Ardmore, NZ) has partnered with Orion Aeromedical to provide international medical evacuation services. Orion Aeromedical will supply medical expertise and manage air medical operations, while NZ Jet will serve as aircraft operator, with a Citation V and an Astra SPX inducted in early 2026, both capable of rapid reconfiguration for medical missions. The range of Astra SPX, which enables non-stop flights between New Zealand and most South Pacific islands, was a key factor in forming the partnership. NZ Jet co-founder John Ambler will assume the role of Orion Aeromedical's director of aviation.
