A court case involving an Airlink (South Africa) former Zimbabwean country manager Morgan Tagarira Sibanda, accused of money laundering and stealing USD693,553 from the airline, has been postponed to May 11 when a trial date is to be set. Sibanda was released on bail after an initial appearance in the Harare Magistrate's Court. He is accused of underreporting ticket sales and not having deposited funds between September 2024 and August 2025. The theft was uncovered during an internal audit in September 2025. Airlink has declined to comment as the case is ongoing.
