Jet Airways (Mumbai International) is planning to transfer its ‘scissor hub’ from Brussels National to Amsterdam Schiphol, Etihad CEO James Hogan, said at a press conference in Amsterdam on May 21. The move comes on the back of a new four-month old co-operation agreement between KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL, Amsterdam Schiphol) and Etihad Airways (EY, Abu Dhabi International), owners of a 24% stake in the Indian carrier. Jet Airways operates flights from Delhi International and Mumbai International in India to New York Newark, Toronto Pearson in North America via Brussels. Mr. Hogan gave no timescale as to when the transfers would take place.
