Summit Air Charters (SUT, Yellowknife) has completed the full integration of Arctic Sunwest Charters (Yellowknife) with all flights now operating under the brand and air operator certificate of Summit Air. Arctic Sunwest Charters was acquired by Ledcor Air Limited, a member of the Ledcor Group of Companies, in August 2012. Summit Air has been operating out of Yellowknife for over twenty years and was purchased by Ledcor in 2009. Summit Air Charters currently operates Do228s, and Shorts Skyvans while Arctic Sunwest had operated DHC-8-100s, DHC-6s, DHC-5s and smaller turboprop and piston powered aircraft.
