Sunrise Airways (S6, Port au Prince) has announced that it will start scheduled passenger services between Cap Haitien and Providenciales, in the Turks & Caicos Islands, beginning August 26, 2013. The new route marks the first international service for the airline, an important initial step in its efforts to establish a hub in Haiti to better serve the Western Caribbean. According to the carrier, of its fleet of four Jetstream 32s, two of the aircraft, HH-YET (msn 914) & HH-SUN (msn 922), will be used to operate the flights as these are fitted with TCAS II and FDR avionics.
