Air Lituanica (Vilnius) has officially taken delivery of its first own aircraft – an E175LR, LY-LTF (c/n 17000017), on lease from the Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International)-backed firm, ECC Leasing. During the delivery ceremony, Air Lituanica CEO Erikas Zubrus said that as his airline planned to serve 13-16 destinations by 2015, so more aircraft would be acquired in due course. The EMB-175 is expected to be deployed on flights to Brussels National on September 15, Prague Václav Havel on September 20 and Munich from September 21. The Lithuanian regional carrier also has an EMB-170 on wet-lease from Estonian Air (Tallinn Lennart Meri).
