Lucky Air (China) (8L, Dali) has been granted approval from the Yunnan Surveillance and Monitoring Bureau to expand into the international market. According to WCARN, the Hainan Airlines (HU, Haikou) subsidiary will begin international cargo and passenger services "soon", thereby becoming the second airline qualified to operate international flights in Yunnan Province. At present, Lucky Air operates scheduled passenger flights throughout China.
