Evelop Airlines (Palma de Mallorca) will venture into the domestic and regional market - Scandinavia in particular - parent firm Barceló Viajes has disclosed. Speaking during a press conference in Tenerife earlier this week, Evelop Managing Director, Emeterio Lorente, said the airline would deploy its fleet of two A320-200s on the following routes: from Lanzarote to Zaragoza, Barcelona El Prat and Bilbao; from Tenerife Sur to Valencia Manises, Zaragoza and Barcelona; from Gran Canaria to Menorca Mahón and Valencia. In terms of European routes, Evelop will offer flights out of Gran Canaria to Jönköping and Borlänge/Falun in Sweden, Kristiansand in Norway and Turku in Finland. The latter two routes will also see service from Tenerife Sur. Established by Spanish tour operator Barceló Viajes as a means of developing its own independence from scheduled operators, Evelop also operates an A330-300 to the Caribbean.
