Garuda Indonesia (GA, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) will switch its proposed 3x weekly Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta to London Gatwick direct flight to a 5x weekly service via Amsterdam Schiphol Airline Route has reported. As a result of the change, the airline's Amsterdam departure to Jakarta will shift from noon time to evening as of May 30 when London Gatwick will first be served.

The Indonesian carrier also intends to start a nonstop B777-300ER service from Jakarta to Amsterdam replacing its existing service via Abu Dhabi International with effect from May 30.
