flyvista (Tbilisi) commenced scheduled operations on August 4 with a twice weekly Tbilisi to Tehran Imam Khomeini service operated on-board one of its two B737-300s, 4L-AJC (msn 28873). Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, TAV Georgia's General Manager, Mete Erkal, said the next route to be launched would be Kyiv Boryspil this autumn.
“I am glad that new flights from Tbilisi International Airport toward Tehran will be served by new Georgian air company flyvista. This company will also perform Tbilisi-Kiev-Tbilisi flights from autumn," he said.
Thereafter, the LCC is planning to serve Moscow, Almaty International, Istanbul Atatürk, Baku Heydar Aliev International, Prague Václav Havel and Minsk National.
