Al-Naser Airlines (Baghdad) has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321-200 (cn 550), Skyliner Aviation reports. The former Sichuan Airlines (3U, Chengdu Shuangliu) twinjet is currently parked in Baghdad joining six ex-Virgin Atlantic (VS, London Heathrow) A340-600s (to be operated for Iraqi Airways (IA, Baghdad)), one A340-300, one B737-200Adv and one B737-400. It currently unknown whether the new aircraft will also be deployed into service for Iraqi Airways.

Owned by the Al-Riyadh Investment Group, Al-Naser specializes in scheduled and charter passenger and cargo services.
