Air Mandalay (Yangon) has taken over its first and Myanmar's first E145s. The two former Aerolitoral aircraft, N160EC (cn 145060) and N189EC (cn 145089), are currently in Yangon undergoing certification and painting ahead of their entry into revenue service, scheduled for later next month.

As previously reported, the two Embraer Regional Jets are expected to join the carrier's other aircraft, an ATR72-212, in resuming flights from Yangon to Heho, Tachilek, Thandwe, Mandalay International, Myitkyina and Bagan/Nyaung-u.
