North Shore Air (North Shore) has secured its Part 135 Air Operators Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAANZ) ahead of its planned commercial launch on Monday, September 21, 2015.
The start-up plans to offer scheduled flights to Kerikeri and Tauranga from its Auckland North Shore base initially before expanding in the domestic market. It will also operate in the ACMI/charter sector.
At present, the airline's fleet consists of a single Piper (twin piston) PA-31 Navajo with a second to be acquired shortly.
