Tan Cang Airlines (Ho Chi Minh City) is planning to enter the Vietnamese aviation market in 2018 following its application to the Vietnamese Ministry of Transport for a general aviation business licence.
From its base at Ho Chi Minh City, the firm plans to run helicopter flights throughout Vietnam's southern regions focussing on the tourism, cartography, geological survey, and medevac sectors.
Vietnam currently counts four general aviation operators including Hai Au Aviation (HAI, Hanoi Noi Bai International), Globaltrans Air (Ho Chi Minh City), Hanh Tinh Xanh Technology Solution Corporation, and Vietnam Helicopters (Hanoi Noi Bai International).
