Yamal Airlines (YC, Salekhard) has concluded B737-500 operations following the return of its only remaining aircraft of the type to its lessor, AerCap, last week.

According to Skyliner Aviation, VQ-BNM (msn 28201) was ferried from Moscow Domodedovo to Shannon last week leaving the Russian carrier's Boeing inventory at two B737-400s.

Aside from the B737s, Yamal Airlines also operates seven A320-200s, two A321-200s, one CL-850, ten CRJ200s, and seven SSJ 100/95LRs. It currently serves thirty-eight destinations spanning Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Montenegro.
