KLM Cityhopper (WA, Amsterdam Schiphol) has confirmed it has now ended all Fokker Aircraft (Woensdrecht) operations. One of the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL, Amsterdam Schiphol) unit's last eight remaining Fokker 70s, PH-KZU (msn 11543) conducted the type's final revenue service for cityhopper as flight KL 1070 - London Heathrow-Amsterdam Schiphol - on Saturday, October 28, before being retired.

KLM has systematically replaced its outgoing Fokker 70 and 100 fleets with newer, more efficient Embraer Regional Jets. At present, cityhopper's fleet now consists exclusively of ten E175s and thirty E190s.
