OneJet (Pittsburgh International) has announced it will begin E135 operations during the first quarter of 2018. In a statement, the virtual carrier said the Embraer Regional Jet would be configured with thirty seats ahead of its deployment into service on March 27, 2018, on regular flights between Memphis International and Pittsburgh International. It will concurrently begin nonstop service between Memphis and Kansas City International. Both routes will operate twice daily on weekdays only.
The aircraft will be operated for OneJet by technical partner Contour Aviation (LF, Smyrna) which already operates Hawker 400s on its behalf. As previously reported, OneJet is also looking to induct Cessna Citation CJ4s to its fleet during the first quarter of 2018.
OneJet currently offers over 220 weekly flights from its operating bases in Pittsburgh International and Milwaukee General Mitchell to destinations that include Albany, NY, Buffalo Niagara International, Cincinnati International, Columbus John Glenn, OH, Hartford Bradley, Indianapolis International, Kansas City, Louisville International, Memphis, Nashville International, Omaha Eppley, Providence and Richmond International, VA.
