Aeroflot-Nord (Arkhangelsk Talagi) had been temporarily forced to suspend its Arkhangelsk-Murmansk-Tromsø services in July after the European Union had banned the flights based on a restriction Russian authorities had placed on the carrier that prevented it from operating international charter services. The flights have since resumed on August 1 as scheduled flights were excluded by the restriction in the first place. It has however temporarily stored its single B737-300s and several B737-500s but plans to lease another ex-British Airways (BA/London Heathrow) B737-300.
