Island Air (Hawaii) (Honolulu) has wet-leased a Saab 340B from PenAir (Anchorage Ted Stevens) as an interim replacement for one of its DHC-8-100s that had to be retired after reaching the maximum number of flights. It plans to replace its aging fleet of four remaining Dash 8-100s by a mix of ATR42s and ATR72s.
