Executive Airlines (Puerto Rico) (San Juan Luis Muñoz Marin) is going to completely shut down operations by March 2013 according to local press reports in Puerto Rico. It had already stopped its operations on behalf of parent American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) from Dallas/Fort Worth and American had announced plans to stop ATR 72-200 operations from Miami International by November of this year. Executive currently operates 18 ATR 72-200s.
