Norse Atlantic Airways (N0, Oslo Gardermoen) has obtained slots at Dublin International and Dubai International airports for the Winter 2022/2023 season, although it has not disclosed its network plans for either.

The Norwegian long-haul low-cost carrier currently focuses on its home market at Oslo Gardermoen having launched transatlantic services last week and plans to add its second and third base, London Gatwick and Berlin Brandenburg International, in mid-August 2022. The carrier has also implied that it would launch flights from Paris at some point but has yet to outline specific plans to do so.

The carrier's slot requests at Dublin and Dubai airports do not name any potential routes. Norse obtained 840 slots at the Irish gateway and 292 at Dubai for the entire the upcoming winter season.

"We are very pleased to have secured slots at Dublin and Dubai airports. During our start-up phase the flexibility of our network is of paramount importance to ensure we are seizing commercially successful opportunities and routes. We will announce further details in due course," the carrier told ch-aviation in a statement.

Should Norse Atlantic Airways launch flights to Dubai, it would be its first Middle Eastern destination. Currently, the carrier focuses exclusively on transatlantic operations.
