KLM Cityhopper (WA, Amsterdam Schiphol) has signed a lease agreement with BOC Aviation, formerly named Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (SALE), for six E190s set to be delivered between November 2013 and April 2014. The aircraft form part of the fleet renewal programme of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL, Amsterdam Schiphol) which will see a gradual phasing out of its subsidiary's fleet of twenty-seven Fokker 70s, used primarily on flights to Scandinavia, the UK, Western Europe, and the Czech Republic.
