Promech Air (Key West International) ceased offering scheduled services with effect from October 1 ch-aviation has learned. Airline sources state that the carrier may revisit the decision again in May 2015 but for the meantime, has chosen to focus on sightseeing flights to Misty Fjords National Monument and Neets Bay Salmon Hatchery as well as air taxi and charter operations.

The south-east Alaskan carrier's fleet includes four DHC-2s and five DHC-3s and Promech had offered scheduled services between Ketchikan International, Craig, Klawock, Hollis, Metlakatla, Thorne Bay, and Waterfall.
