Flexjet (LXJ, Cleveland Cuyahoga Country) has announced the delivery of its maiden Embraer Legacy 450 business jet. The first fractional fleet provider to take delivery of the type, Flexjet is expecting a further four to be delivered by the end of the year.

“The Legacy 450 will become the mainstay of our midsized program, which has been growing rapidly in response to increased demand for aircraft of this size,” Michael Silvestro, Flexjet’s Chief Executive Officer, said. “The size of the Legacy 450 places it and its sister aircraft, the Legacy 500, in the centre of our fleet, between the super light Learjet 75LXi and the super mid-sized Bombardier Aerospace Challenger 350.”

Flexjet also operates Learjet 75LXis, Global Express and Gulfstream G450s. They also have on order and will be taking delivery of GVI-G650s in 2017, G500s in 2018 and has placed an order for twenty Aerion AS2 supersonic business jets.
