AMC Airlines (AMV, Cairo International) has begun commercial B737-500 operations just over six months after its acquired three aircraft of the type - SU-GBH (msn 25084), SU-GBK (msn 26052) and SU-GBL (msn 26051) - from EgyptAir (MS, Cairo International).
Skyliner Aviation research indicates SU-GBK (msn 26052) was recently deployed into service on flights connecting Beirut with the Red Sea resort town of Sharm el Sheikh.
Aside from the three B737-500s, AMC Airlines also operates a single B737-800, SU-BPZ (msn 35213), which is currently wet-leased out to fellow Egyptian operator, Air Cairo (SM, Cairo International).
