Virgin Atlantic (VS, London Heathrow) has placed an order for 10 A330-300s that will be delivered as of 2011 and replace B787-9 delivery positions that have been delayed by several years. It has temporarily stored two A340-600s and a B747-400s because of weak long-haul demand that have lead to a planned 7% cut in capacity and up to 600 job losses. It has temporarily suspended its London Heathrow-Chicago O'Hare services until May 27,2010
