Jet Airways (JAI, Mumbai International) has signalled its intention to commence scheduled B737-8 operations with effect from July 1.

ch-aviation analysis of schedule data shows the Indian carrier will deploy its incoming fleet of Boeing (BOE, Washington National) narrowbody jets on flights from Mumbai International to each of Bengaluru International, Delhi International, Goa Dabolim, Hyderabad International, Mangalore Bajpe, Jaipur, Chennai, and Tiruchirapally locally as well as Abu Dhabi International and Dubai International, in the United Arab Emirates, internationally.

Jet Airways will configure its MAX 8s with 12 seats in premium and 162 in economy class.

In total, Jet Airways has 150 B737 MAX on order from Boeing of which two aircraft will arrive this month followed by a further nine by March 2019.
