Volga-Dnepr Airlines (VI, Ulyanovsk Vostochny) plans to take over German cargo carrier ACG Air Cargo Germany (Frankfurt Hahn) which currently operates four B747-400Fs mainly on Asia and Africa. Volga-Dnepr also owns AirBridge Cargo which competes with ACG on some of the routes to Asia. Together the two carriers would operate 17 B747 freighters.
