Sales team

Our Sales team supports customers from all around the world, with team members based in Zagreb, Croatia, and Belgrade, Serbia. The department is divided into Business Development Representatives, Account Executives, and Customer Support Executives, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Data team

Our Data Researchers are the heart and soul of our company, organized into five specialized teams: Airlines, AirOps, Assets, Fleets, and QA. Based in Zagreb, Croatia, and Belgrade, Serbia, they power ch-aviation with unique and hard-to-find aviation data, ensuring the accuracy and depth that set us apart.

Publishing team

Within our Publishing department, the News team delivers accurate, up-to-date daily articles on the aviation industry, while other team members focus on SEO and third-party content.

Development team

Thanks to our Development team, we can run our processes and programs as smoothly as possible. They are working from Croatia, Serbia and Thailand.

Marketing team

Our Marketing team makes sure that our message gets to the right eyes. They are located in our office in Zagreb, Croatia.

Finance team

Our finance team, based in Zagreb, handles financial operations, ensuring stability and efficiency across the organization.

Human Resources team

Our HR team operates from both Zagreb, Croatia, and Belgrade, Serbia, supporting employees and fostering a strong company culture.

Recruitment Process

    Include your cover letter

    We know that it’s not easy to apply for different jobs and that cover letters take a lot of time BUT we DO read them!

    We need to understand your motivation for applying so here are some tips (quality over quantity):

    • Mention any connection to aviation you might have.
    • Offer us insight into your reasons for applying specifically with us and the department you chose.

    Be ready for the assessment

    Every department has a specific assessment. They are all time-limited and done remotely.

    Can you tell us a bit more about yourself?

    After you do well in the assessment, someone from our HR team and the Hiring Manager (your future manager) will set up a call to get to know you better. The first interview usually lasts for 30 minutes.

    It is helpful if you read about us here and if you can tell us, in your own words, what you think we do and how you fit in.

    Second interview

    This is usually the last step in the recruitment process. We give you examples of situations that might occur in your future position to see if you have any experience with them or know how you would handle them.

    What made you join the company?

    Working as an aviation journalist for +7 years, ch-aviation has always been a standard in the industry, providing such accurate information which is rarely seen elsewhere. Additionally, working with a team of journalists specialised in this industry was very appealing to me, as well as the possibility of working with a company with so much growth potential.

    Data Researcher

    What does a typical day look like for a data researcher?

    Google!!! Being a data researcher requires you to find information which is in lots of cases not that easy to find, so you have to be creative. Even tho job requires you to think you don't have to be hyper focused, so you can enjoy music while working, or listen to podcast or audiobook. As I mentioned, I am able to organise my own work flow so not every day is the same. Usually first thing I do is check the amount of work I have and time to complete it, then I decide what I will do that day to make it most enjoyable. I am still new to the position, so maybe I am not the best person to ask what a "typical" day looks like.

    What are the colleagues like in the Data team?

    If you can remember the excitement when as a kid you were playing pretend with paper planes and everyone else grew up, and you didn't want to. If you get the chills every single time you are about to take off somewhere, not really caring as much about the destination as about what metal bird is flying you there.
