Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna) has announced that it plans to go ahead with a plan to merge its flight operations with Tyrolean Airways (Innsbruck) between July 1 and the end of the year. It plans to move all of its pilots and flight attendants to Tyrolean Airways labour contract standards. Austrian will obviously continue to be used as its brand name and all Tyrolean flights currently operated as Austrian arrows will then also operate as Austrian.
