Air Pacific (Nadi) plans to rebrand as Fiji Airways (FJ, Nadi) by 2013 to better reflect its origin with further details to be made available to the public in July. It had previously operated under this name between 1951 and 1971 before being reorganized with the help of Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingsford Smith) and being rebranded back then.
