AeroSur (Santa Cruz Viru Viru) is still grounded and in talks with potential US investor William Petty who has signed a memorandum of understanding to invest up to 15 million USD in the Bolivian carrier. The Bolivian public services minister Vladimir Sánchez has publicly stated that he does not believe that this will be anywhere close to enough to the current capital requirements of Aerosur.
