Singapore Airlines (SQ, Singapore Changi) says it has firmed up an order for seven Airbus A350F freighters, with options for five more aircraft.

The agreement, which was first announced as a Letter of Intent (LOI) in December last year, was signed during the Singapore Airshow 2022 and includes a swap with fifteen A320-200Ns and two A350-900s that are in the Singapore Airlines Group's order backlog.

As previously reported, Singapore Airlines will use the new generation freighters to replace its seven B747-400FSCDs which are around 18 years old at present. As launch operator, deliveries of the A350Fs should begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.
