Air France (AF, Paris CDG) is considering putting its loss-making CityJet (WX, Dublin International) regional subsidiary up for sale later this year or to look for some outside investors according to news reports by several newspapers including the Irish Independent. Cityjet currently operates 21 ARJ85s on behalf of Air France and on franchise routes using the AF carrier code, sales and distibution services. It has a significant base at London City where it also uses the vast majority of the 12 Fokker 50s operated by its subsidiary VLM (1992) (Antwerp) and two Do328-100s wet-leased from Suckling Airways (Cambridge).
