ASL Airlines France (5O, Paris CDG) has retired and sold its last B737-300(F), F-GIXC (msn 25124), as it transitions to a B737-800(BCF)-based fleet.

The 31.1-year-old jet, which previously operated under the L'Aéropostale and Europe Airpost brands, was retired from revenue service at the end of April 2021, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. It has since remained in storage at Belgrade Nikola Tesla airport. It was ferried to Paris CDG and then onwards via Reykjavik Keflavik and Bangor International to Miami Opa-Locka over the course of May 19-June 2, 2022. It remains registered in France.

ASL Airlines France confirmed to Cargo Facts that it has now sold the aircraft to an undisclosed new operator. The ch-aviation fleets module shows it is due to join the fleet of AeroSucre (KRE, Barranquilla).

After the retirement of the B737-300(F), ASL Airlines France continues to operate two B737-300(QC)s, which despite their Quick Change configuration, are deployed primarily as passenger aircraft. It remains the only operator of any -300 variant in the ASL Aviation Holdings. Its B737 Classic fleet also comprises five B737-400(SF)s. ASL Airlines Ireland and ASL Airlines Belgium also operate -400 freighters.

The French airline also operates one B737-700 and four B737-800(BCF)s.
